WHO Emergency and Essential Surgical Care Programme – Technical Meeting

Scaling up surgical, obstetric and anaesthesia care to strengthen health systems, achieve universal health coverage (UHC) and attain sustainable development.

This all-day technical meeting will highlight the partnerships that are critical to global progress made towards implementation of Resolution WHA68.15 (2015) and Decision WHA70.22 (2017).

The Federation was founded in 1958 in Stockholm, Sweden, with the objective of establishing a neutral institute that would speak with a single voice for world surgery on problems of common interest.
